Get to know 'Katy'

Ever since I was little, I've had a love for art, whether it was drawing, crafting or cooking. I’ve always loved being creative & giving personalised gifts.

It wasn’t until I had my second son that I started my little journey into this wonderful baking world. I started baking just for friends & family celebrations. It wasn’t before long I fell in love with the feelings I had seeing little & BIG faces light up. 

After our third son I started watching more & more videos on baking & decorating (In silence of course), as I put my youngest two to bed every night. #MUMLIFE

Then one day I thought to myself, what do I have to loose and just WENT for it, this was the beginning of Sweet Cakes. Since then I have put a countless number of sleepless nights & long days into bringing many sweet visions to life. Not in my wildest dream did I ever think that this would become what it is today, a beautiful full time business where I get to do what I love for a living.
